MassHealth Doula Research Study
Part 2: Interviews
If you completed the survey, we invite you to take the next step and participate in a one-on-one interview. This is your chance to expand on your experiences, share the stories behind your answers, and highlight what matters most to you as a doula. Your voice adds depth and context that survey data alone can’t capture. By joining the interview, you play an even more powerful role in ensuring that doula perspectives lead the way.
Who can participate?
Participants who successfully completed the MassHealth Doula Study survey are invited to participate in an interview.
As a reminder, this study is open to individuals who meet the following criteria:
1. Registered as a MassHealth doula provider
2. Have worked with at least one MassHealth client
3. Speak English
4. Are 18 years of age or older
What will I be asked to do?
Participate in a 60-minute Zoom interview to expand upon the questions asked in the survey regarding enrollment, reimbursement, and your work experience as a doula.
Will my answers be confidential?
Yes! Your personal information will be confidential. No personally identifying information will be included in any reports or publications, although the content of your interview responses may be used.
All participants who complete the interview will receive a $75 gift card.
